Can SMP completely cover alopecia patches?

Yes — SMP is one of the most effective solutions for covering alopecia patches. The pigment is applied across the affected area to replicate the density of surrounding hair follicles. Treated patches become virtually undetectable. For complete scalp hair loss, a full treatment creates a consistent, natural shaved-head look.

What if my alopecia is unpredictable and patches move?

This is an important consideration for alopecia clients. Mark discusses this at the consultation and designs the treatment taking the unpredictable nature of alopecia into account. If hair regrows in treated areas or new patches appear, a top-up session can be arranged to adapt the coverage. The 12-month guarantee covers changes in the first year.

Will SMP work if my alopecia is currently active?

It is generally preferable for alopecia to be in a stable or inactive phase before treatment, as actively changing patches can affect the planning of the treatment. However, this is assessed individually — some clients choose to proceed even with active alopecia for significant quality-of-life reasons. Mark will give honest advice at the consultation.
