How SMP creates the shaved hair look

SMP uses thousands of tiny layered impressions to mimic shaved hair follicles. From normal viewing distance, those dots blend together and create the look of a fuller shaved scalp or a sharper hairline.

The technique is not about drawing hair. It is about building believable shadow, tone and density.

The three-session process

Most treatments are built across three sessions. The first sets the shape and foundation, the second adds density, and the third refines the blend once the skin has settled.

Spacing sessions gives the skin time to heal and lets Mark see how the pigment settles before adding more. That is how natural results are built.

Design and blending

The design stage matters as much as the needle work. Hairline height, temple shape, side profile and density all need to suit your face, age and existing hair.

The goal is for people to notice you look sharper, not to spot that you have had a treatment.
